Mindful Movement Classes



What brings you to center? It is our experience as both student and teacher there are many routes to getting there. Midline is a place to explore and be in the body in various ways so that you can connect with where you are, just as you are. You can expect breath centered core conditioning, alignment based hatha yoga, functional movement with some cardio sprinkled in and the necessary time to settle and be still. It is designed with your real life in mind. It is not any one thing because our bodies need diversity and exploration to determine the road home. All levels welcome!



Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment.

Contemporary Pilates Mat Flow


This class will introduce the concepts that Joseph Pilates applied to his method, called Contrology. It will be a beginning to intermediate level initially and will progress as students gain mastery of the exercises and their bodies. The beauty of Pilates is that done properly, even the most basic of exercises will provide a challenging and beneficial workout. This class is not intended for individuals with limitations of spinal movements as the repertoire of exercises is intended to move the student in all directions from a strong and stable base. Students will enjoy the deep connection of the mind to the body and the breath, leaving the class feeling stretched and strengthened.

Yoga and the Feldenkrais Method


This is a gentle yoga class or anyone who wants to prevent injury or is recovering from injury, or just wants to learn more easeful and efficient movement for daily life. Patricia will weave mini-movement lessons that explore movement sequences. You will be able to apply these lessons to moving better in your yoga practice, as well as your everyday movement. Applying principles of The Feldenkrais Method, you can learn to move with more grace, efficiency, and power.
